Charles D. Morgan is an investor in Bridgehampton Arbitrage LLC and an equity owner of Bridgehampton Capital Management LLC. Currently, he is chairman of the advisory board of BHCM and co-manager of investments. Prior to his involvement with Bridgehampton, Mr. Morgan retired as the CEO of Acxiom Corporation (a public information services company) in May 2008, after 36 years. During his tenure with Acxiom, Mr. Morgan served on the board and in various leadership roles with the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), serving in 2001 as chairman of the DMA board. Mr. Morgan worked at IBM as a systems engineer for six years prior to joining Acxiom, and he holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Arkansas.
Mr. Morgan currently serves as a member and is the past chairman of the board of trustees of Hendrix College. He also serves on the board of INUVO, Inc., a public company focused on simplifying performance based advertising and Entrust, Inc., a private company, that provides solutions to protect the digital identities and information for security-conscious enterprises and governments. Mr. Morgan is also board chairman of First Orion Corp, a private company that provides an application called PrivacyStar to help protect the privacy of mobile phone users. He is also chairman of the board of Querencia, a private golf development and golf course in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and a principle in TruSpeed Motorcars and TruSpeed Motorsports based in Newport Beach, CA.Mr. Morgan and his wife, Susie, live in Dallas, TX.
