Dona C. Bailey has an extensive and successful history in computing. She is perhaps most well-known as a co-developer of the early game Centipede, one of the first video games to incorporate AI. Dona was one of the only female game programmers in the industry at that time. Dona got her start in programming by learning assembly language at General Motors. She was recently the keynote speaker at the Women in Games International conference. She currently teaches at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, including a class geared specifically toward students training in game design.
