Tommy spent 35 years working in IT for IBM and Acxiom Corporation. He retired from Acxiom in January, 2007. He currently serves on the Elder Board of Fellowship Bible Church in Conway and is involved in International Missions work. He also serves on the National Board of K-Life, Inc., a Christian youth ministry.
Tommy joined Acxiom Corporation in January of 1990. He held several senior leadership positions in all aspects of Acxiom’s internal and external IT Services Organization. He was Group Leader for the IT Services Organization and later served as Organization Leader with company wide responsibility for all IT services and support.
Prior to joining Acxiom, Tommy spent 18 years at IBM. There he worked as a Systems Engineer for seven years in Little Rock, as an S. E. Manager for two years ion St. Louis, and as a Branch Marketing Support Manager for four years in Washington D.C. Tommy also served on the NAD Headquarters support staff in Dallas for three years and the Regional Support staff in St. Louis for two years.
Tommy grew up in Camden, Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. He is a member of the Arkansas Academy of Industrial Engineers (past board member), the Arkansas Academy of Computing and served on the U.of A. Business School’s Computer Information Systems Advisory Board.
Tommy has three married sons, five grandchildren and lives with his wife, Susie, in Conway.2
