William worked as a budget analyst for Texas Eastern Transmission from 1958-1960. He was an instructor in Accounting and Finance with the University of Texas at Austin from 1960-1962. He then became an Assistant Professor of Business Administration with Texas A&M University from 1962-1966 and as the Associate Professor of Management from 1966-1969. William then worked as a professor in Quantitative Management Science and as a coordinator for the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville from 1969-1971. After that, he became a professor in Management for the University’s European program in 1971-1972 and a professor in Management after that until 1978. He then worked as a professor in Business Analysis and Data Processing from 1979-1998. He has been a professor emeritus from 1998 until present.
William received his certificate in Data Processing (DPMA) in 1966 and Summer Research Fellow Traveler’s Insurance in 1968. He was elected one of the Outstanding Educators of America in 1973 and Who’s Who in Southwest in 1980. In 1976, he was a part of NATO Advanced Study Institute in Computer Science and has put out numerous research papers and case studies.
