Steve Bova retired in 2008 and has since been active as an investor and board member in both private and publicly-owned companies. He previously enjoyed an extensive global career in software and IT services.
From 2000 until 2008, Bova was CEO of Technisource, Inc. Prior to that he was President of the Global Banking Division of EDS Corporation, and President of both the Global Financial Division and Telecommunications Division of ALLTEL Information Services (now Fidelity Information Services). Prior to that he served as Chief Information Officer for the Asia Division of Bank of America based in Hong Kong.
Bova has served on many private and public company boards in the technology sector. He is currently is a director for Optomi, LLC, a national IT services provider headquartered in Atlanta, and Vascugenix, a medical product company in Little Rock. He was a member of the Investment Committee of Fund for Arkansas’ Future, a private investment group focused on technology and science based start-up companies in Arkansas. He served fifteen years as an advisory board member at THUNDERBIRD Graduate School of International Business.
Among his professional honors, the division he founded and managed for ALLTEL was named the 1992 recipient of the J. William Fulbright Award for International Trade Development.
