He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a PhD in Engineering from the University Arkansas. His current position is Professor of Practice and Director and founder of the Data Science Program at the UofA, and Co-Lead for the NSF EPSCoR DART Data Science for Arkansas Ecosystem and Lead for the HIRED-DASC grant from ADHE/ADE.
Among his many accomplishments, these three stand out-- Being the first Dell CTO and Dell Fellow and founding the Storage Division at Dell, leading the team to develop and founding the UofA Data Science Program. And co-leading the team to develop and founding the Data Science for Arkansas Ecosystem.
Other significant roles include: Technova Consulting, LLC; served as President and Principal Consultant; Chief Scientist and Strategy Officer and Cofounder, TYNYBAY Inc. and CEO and Cofounder, ShopTimely, LLC.
